In the 1300s and 1400s Europe was a troubled continent.
The Black Death, also know as the plague, was a disease that spread through Europe. About 19-38 million people died between 1347 and 1351.
In the late Middle Ages, the plague was not the only problem. A war began between the French and English. This war would last over 100 years.
