Religion
After the fall of Han dynasty, The Chinese turned their faith to Buddhism because it taught people to escape from suffering. Buddhism became popular in China and the government began to fear its power; therefore the Tang dynasty destroyed many temples in A.D. 845. Neo-Confucianism was introduced during the Tang dynasty. It has a combination of : Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism. It became more than a philosophy but a belief system in China.
